Flora: Mommy, when I grow up, I’m going to get married and get a baby.
Me: That’s good, Flora. (Never mind that my racing brain was trying to process this news.)
Flora: It’s going to come out of my lady business.

The nurse was visiting Nanny today, and Flora was next door while she was there.
When the nurse was done, she came down to talk to Bella. Bella introduced her to Flora. Flora asked who she was.
Bella told me about the following exchange.
“I’m the nurse who comes to take care of Nanny,” the nurse explained.
“How is Nanny?” Flora asked.
“She’s just fine.”
“Did you wash her lady business?”
Not sure I can beat “lady business” but I’ll be writing about Oliver-isms later.
Thanks for unbanishing me from your blogroll.
What do you mean about the blogroll? I just updated it with blogs I actually read. Did you drop off for awhile?
“Lady business” definitely takes the cake, and I give Dan ALL the credit.
Nothing beats the “lady business.”
Like I said, all credit goes to my husband for that one.
This is the funniest thing I’ve heard all weekend. Thanks for making me laugh. And hopefully that nurse remembers a little something from her pediatrics rotation!
If nothing else, that nurse isn’t going to forget Flora!
What I learned today: Be VERY Careful when speaking with Elianna about anything for she will repeat it at the worst times 🙂
Oh, it’s not until I start getting calls from other parents of kids in Flora’s class that I’m going to worry. And even then, if it’s about lady business, I can just refer them to Dan.
HAHA! awesome.
I’m going to teach it to Maggie. Look out! 😉
I think Lady Gaga needs to write a song called “Lady Business” …or at least use it for an album title!!
